How Netflix Is Looked At By Long Island Marketing Companies

By Rob Sutter

With so many brands attempting to make themselves known to the masses, not many have been able to reach the level of Netflix. It seems like this particular service has done quite well for itself in recent times and the impact that it has had across the board has been undeniable. That being said, what are some of the reasons behind the success it attained recently? If you would like to know, I am sure that Long Island marketing companies can tell you all about them.

It's a little tough to believe that something as big as Netflix was once on the verge of being closed down during 2011. It's tough to believe but an article on Mashable spoke about this, as well as the failure of a service named Qwikster. After seeing how little this idea has been able to attain success, it was dropped. It seems like streaming content and mailing DVDs, while older concepts for Netflix, were ones that did not have to be changed around for any reason.

Even though Netflix has always been popular for its library of television shows and movies, I'm sure that Long Island marketing companies can relate to the idea of original content and how much traction it can create. Firms like fishbat can tell you all about the original series that Netflix has brought to the forefront. From "House of Cards" to "Orange is the New Black," the hybrid of engaging stories and stellar acting certainly helped. In fact, I'd like to bet that many new customers signed up for Netflix just to watch these programs.

What about the ongoing trends that have been tied to Netflix in recent times? If you do not know what I mean, keep in mind that there's a consumer-friendly nature that comes with sitting down and watching entire seasons of shows at once. "Binge-watching" has more than made itself known and many customers have taken it upon themselves to sit down in order to marathon entire seasons. If they have days or weekends to spare, it can be done and it adds another level of charm, according to Long Island marketing companies.

The fact that Netflix was named the Breakout Brand of 2013 is not exactly a small accomplish, given the competitive nature of business in general. A number of great things done right helped to make the brand stand out and the influx of content is hard to ignore. In 2014, I am certain that success will continue on, especially with the upcoming season two of "Orange is the New Black." To say that Netflix has the upper hand would be nothing short of an understatement.
