A good fashion tip is to learn how to develop your own sense of style. You don't want to just mimic somebody else and copy their style. Think of what's important to you such as comfort or flair, and then slowly build on that so that your fashion sense is unique to you.

A great fashion tip is to start shopping at thrift stores for some of your clothing. You can often find really unique clothing at thrift stores and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg either like you would if you bought new clothes at some big department store.

If you are starting to go gray, try using a vegetable dye. As long as it is just a few strands that are causing anxiety, this product should do the trick. It turns the gray a shade that is a tad lighter than the rest of your hair. Using vegetable dye will make it look as though you have nice, new highlights and will then fade out over about three months.

A truly fashionable person knows the importance of sporting a beautiful set of pearly whites. You should smile whenever you can. It will make you feel better and keep you looking fashionable.

Clean out your closet on a regular basis. The old saying "out with the old, in with the new" was never more applicable than in the world of fashion. Twice a year, go through your closet and donate those items that you haven't worn in a while. That way, you have room for more fabulous finds, and someone else is benefiting from your unneeded items.

While there are a lot of so-called fashion rules, you always have the freedom to experiment. You aren't sure if something is going to look great until it is on you! You should mix and match your clothes to try out different styles, colors and materials. You may be able to come up with a style all your own as a result.

Know your body's type. Petite women should wear fitted styles in soft fabrics because they elongate the body. Large chests will be best paired with patterned bottoms. And if you have a pear-shaped body, wear dark pants with lighter tops.

Never tease your hair if you're looking for volume, as that will cause the it to become brittle and damaged. Don't style your hair in a way that creates two different textures. You may want to look different and like you are on the cusp of fashion, but you will probably just end up appearing confused.
