Officially, the Disney World Resort and Theme park complex is known as Walt Disney Resort. The complex in Lake Buena Vista and Bay Lake Florida is situated near Orlando, Florida and host several disney world hotels. The company later abandoned the earlier concepts for a planned village and community. After which, Magic Kingdom was the first theme park to open in 1971. Later, Epcot was built in 1982, Hollywood Studios in 1989 and Animal Kingdom, the most recent in 1998. The newest attraction is that of the Star Wars Experience, complete with costumes, characters, games and rides related to the film enterprise.
